Still in Pelham, at my mom and dad's. Have announced there will be "school" this morning as the boys' teachers have distributed assignments via email and the website. This should work for the time being. But I am getting a sinking feeling every time I read on FB that somebody has enrolled their child in a school in the UK...because I want my children back at school in Tokyo! NOW! and am afraid that even if the school reopens and classes resume, and the official advisory is that it is safe to return, half the families will stay away anyway, too spooked by recent events and unwilling to take any chances. What will BST do then? I am afraid for the school. We find out Wednesday if school reopens on March 28.
