Rugby!

T is back on the field, this time with YCAC, as in Yokohama Country & Athletic Club. He was invited to play with the 'Gents' side on Sunday by one of the Dads at the British School, a Scot who's been playing with YCAC since 1994, and whose daughter is in D's class (the guys met at dinner Friday night). YCAC players are mainly ex-pats from England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, and there are some English-speaking Japanese members as well. (Three different people asked T if he was Irish.)

It was a family affair: the boys ran around in the playground next to the field while I managed to take some action shots with my point-and-shoot (I have got to get myself a DSLR).

Check it out: T is being lifted by his shorts here in a line out. He manages to keep the opposition from winning the ball with a swipe of his forearm.
Here he is in the scrum. Look for the headless guy with the great legs on the left, wearing black bike shorts under shorter black shorts, black socks with white stripes). He's playing back row position #8.

Dude in scrum cap is on the move...
