supermarket sushi

Fresh and cheap! I think these are priced at around 1,100 yen, or about $10. I usually buy all salmon and a cucumber roll, which always has some wasabi tucked inside and a sprinkling of sesame seeds on top. In the packages in this photo, the lump of tan-colored stuff one down from the roe (two down from the shrimp and next to the dandelion flower garnish) is sea urchin, which I tried once and, um, I don't need to try again. It's not the taste, it's the texture.
